OUR PROGRAMMES
Elderly Home Care Programme
Providing compassionate home-based care and practical support that enables older persons to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes.
Elderly Care Begins at Home
For many older persons, home is where they feel safest, most comfortable, and most connected to their families and communities.
At Zainah Elderly Initiative (ZEI), we support older persons to remain in their own homes for as long as possible by providing compassionate assistance with their daily needs while preserving their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Programme Overview
The Elderly Home Care Programme provides home-based support to older persons who require assistance with everyday activities, personal care, mobility, nutrition, health needs, and independent living.
Depending on individual needs, support may include personal assistance, home visits, basic nursing support, meal preparation, hygiene care, mobility assistance, companionship, and referrals to appropriate healthcare services.
We also work with families and caregivers to strengthen their capacity to provide safe and respectful care.
Why This Programme Matters
Many older persons experience reduced mobility, chronic health conditions, disability, loneliness, or difficulty performing everyday activities independently.
For some families, providing continuous care can also become challenging without additional knowledge or support.
Home-based care allows older persons to receive assistance within familiar surroundings while maintaining important relationships with their families, neighbours, and communities.
