OUR PROGRAMMES
Visionary Elderly Care Infrastructure Project
Building a long-term vision for dedicated elderly care facilities that provide safe accommodation, professional healthcare, nursing, rehabilitation, and dignified support for older persons.
Building a Future of Dignified Elderly Care
Every older person deserves access to a safe, supportive, and dignified environment where their health, comfort, independence, and wellbeing are prioritized.
Zainah Elderly Initiative (ZEI) envisions developing dedicated elderly care infrastructure that responds to the growing long-term health, residential, nursing, and community support needs of older persons.
Programme Overview
The Visionary Elderly Care Infrastructure Project represents ZEI’s long-term ambition to establish purpose-built facilities and services dedicated to comprehensive elderly care.
The vision includes developing environments where older persons can access professional nursing, healthcare, rehabilitation, residential care, psychosocial support, nutrition, recreation, and other essential services.
ZEI intends to pursue this vision progressively through partnerships, resource mobilization, technical expertise, and collaboration with communities and relevant institutions.
Why This Programme Matters
As people grow older, some develop health conditions, disabilities, mobility limitations, or care needs that cannot always be adequately addressed through home-based support alone.
Families may also require additional professional support when caring for older relatives with complex or long-term needs.
Dedicated elderly care infrastructure can complement family and community care by creating safe environments where older persons can access specialized services while maintaining their dignity and quality of life.
